Why are we doing a True Beauty Weekend Event for Mothers, Daughters and Women and YW Everywhere? This is why:
1. As the world tells women that beauty is based on the outside appearance, we want to shout to the women of the world through this event that it is the inner beauty that counts!
2. The speakers will teach women and YW about what true beauty really means, spiritual beauty, inner beauty, self confidence and loving yourself, not comparing yourself with others, avoiding judgements, understanding the false perceptions media gives us, avoiding self criticism and self doubt, learning how to be content with your outward appearance, and learning how to be a positive, optimistic and happy person no matter what your challenges may be.
3. Women and YW will learn that it is more important what Heavenly Father and the Savior think about them than anyone else. With the Savior, we are "enough." What we each think of ourselves is also important.
4. Amazing and well known speakers that will motivate women and YW through the spirit to do better and to be better. I have heard these women speak and they are ALL absolutely amazing!
5. A spiritually bonding weekend for mothers, daughters, grandmothers and grand daughters.
6. A priceless opportunity to have fun with your daughter, mother, grandmother, family members, friends, etc. Make it an annual weekend event.
7. A delicious formal dinner and lunch provided by Thanksgiving Point. It's also fun to dress up! :)
8. A beautiful, intimate and small setting where women can meet every speaker and musical guest.
